Atect is a company composed of two stable existing businesses and a unique new business. The existing semiconductor materials business manufactures spacer tape that protects LSI for FPD (Flat Panel Display), boasting a global market share of 70%. The second existing business, the sanitary inspection equipment business, produces petri dishes and culture media for microbiological testing, directly selling to over 14,000 food companies in Japan. In recent years, it has also expanded into the field of medical testing, including petri dishes for cancer testing. The PIM (Powder Injection Molding) business, expected to be the third pillar, is a technology that involves injecting molded materials made by mixing metal or ceramic powders with binders. PIM offers high mass production capabilities and allows for the molding of complex shapes and a variety of materials, expanding into various fields including automotive-related areas such as turbochargers, medical devices, and semiconductor-related equipment. Atect aims to deliver value across all industrial sectors through its three distinct businesses, embodying the spirit of "Oh, we can do that!" as a manufacturing company that continues to be a beneficial presence in society.
