In automotive parts, there are many holes through which fluids such as fuel and hydraulic oil pass. Among them, there are numerous challenging drilling processes, including cross holes that are difficult to deburr and angled holes that are hard to machine. Astec's fine hole electrical discharge machining (EDM) machines are specialized for part processing, allowing for burr-free and high-speed hole machining.
