Tokiwa Plant Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a company that boasts a history and achievements as Japan's first specialized company in "phytochemistry (phytochemicals)," founded in 1949. It has established its own factory in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, which is the largest plant for plant extraction and purification in Eastern Japan. The company extracts and purifies phytochemicals and provides products to over 2,000 customers both domestically and internationally through the manufacturing and sales of pharmaceutical raw materials, cosmetic ingredients, health food ingredients, food additives, and research reagents. Tokiwa Plant Chemical Research Institute has accumulated extensive know-how in the extraction, separation, and purification of plant components and is committed to "responding to all needs and requests related to plants." In recent years, the company has focused on developing materials for functional foods, which are in increasing demand, thereby expanding its market share. Additionally, aiming to become a sustainable society and company, it is actively engaged in SDGs activities. In particular, centered on "health management," which prioritizes employee health, the company provides its original formulation "Health Management Supplements TM," developed by consolidating the functional research and knowledge of phytochemicals cultivated over many years, as part of employee welfare. In 2020, it was selected as a "Regional Future Leading Company."
