The next official Yocto Project practical course (LFD461-JP) is scheduled to be held over three days from September 9 (Tuesday) to September 11 (Thursday), 2025. This practical course integrates the knowledge and know-how gained from Yocto-related development, support, and seminars conducted by Lino. We encourage companies that want to learn Yocto or utilize it more effectively to consider participating.

Cybertrust / Lineo Solutions will exhibit at "EdgeTech+ West 2025," which will be held at Grand Front Osaka from July 24 (Thursday) to July 25 (Friday), 2025. Partial application of the "EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)" will begin in September 2026. The CRA is a law imposed on products that include many digital elements sold in the EU, requiring compliance with various security requirements. At this exhibition, we will introduce products and services for embedded Linux security measures that support compliance with security legislation and standards, including the CRA, under the theme "CRA Application Starting Soon! In embedded/IoT devices, it has become common to adopt Linux OS. Many embedded developers may have questions such as, "How is Linux used in embedded systems?" or "What exactly is Linux?" when transitioning from RTOS or bare-metal systems, or from Windows to Linux. The "Introduction to Embedded Linux Seminar" will start with "What is Linux?" and provide basic information that serves as a stepping stone for transitioning to Linux. In this seminar, we will introduce a demo that actually runs on the target board using an image built with the Yocto Project, based on the Linux BSP provided for the NXP i.MX8M board.
