Core-corona type particles have a structure in which hydrophilic units are arranged radially from a core part made up of hydrophobic units. There are grades with corona parts of different ionicities, and they are stabilized in dispersion in water by the hydrophilic units on the particle surface. Our company has refined the synthesis technology of water-dispersible polymer microparticles known as "core-corona type microparticles" and is focusing on their application in the battery field. "Elevain" can be used as a binder for both the anode and cathode. It offers high design flexibility and can be used in the same way as SBR. The "Senka Act Gel Series" is a W/O emulsion-type thickener that provides thickening effects with short stirring times. It does not require the addition of alkali (pH adjustment) like alkali-thickening types. As it is an easy-to-handle liquid product, it can be widely used for thickening various water-based products. "Senka Act Gel CM100" is a cationic thickening agent in emulsion form based on methacrylic acid esters. It is effective for thickening cationic water-based products where conventional anionic thickeners cannot be used. The Unisense NPP series is an allylic cation polymer that has a branched structure within the molecule and also contains reactive groups that can undergo radical polymerization.
