In Arakawa Ward, businesses that have continued operations for over 100 years and contributed to the development of the local economy and community are recognized as "Long-established Businesses of Arakawa Ward." Ishikawa Kanamai celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. We are greatly honored to hear the news of this award decision. The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The wire mesh origami "ORIAMI" is a product developed by Ishikawa Wire Mesh. It retains the flexibility and durability of wire mesh while allowing for easy folding like origami to create works of art. Recently, its flexible shapes and metallic texture have been loved by creators, leading to the production of beautiful works using ORIAMI. This time, we had the pleasure of having Mr. Higashi Katsukawa, an origami artist, create a lamp using ORIAMI.

Ishikawa Kaname Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at the "IPF Japan 2023 (International Plastic Fair)" held at Makuhari Messe. The International Plastic Fair, organized by the International Plastic Fair Council, is a specialized exhibition for plastics and rubber, and this time approximately 800 companies and organizations from both Japan and abroad are expected to gather.
