Free membership registrationIntroducing "Model Case 3: Supporting Quality Improvement of Recycled Materials." Products made from recycled market resources often exhibit lower quality compared to those made from virgin materials. As the use of recycled materials increases in the future, it is expected that the quality requirements will also rise, necessitating countermeasures. By utilizing technologies such as investigating the factors contributing to the performance decline of recycled materials, we can identify the causes of quality degradation. If we can avoid or reduce these factors during the collection, sorting, and recycling processes, we can improve the quality of the final products. [Investigation of Factors Contributing to Performance Decline of Recycled Materials] - Resin degradation assessment: Confirmation of molecular weight reduction through molecular weight distribution measurement - Investigation of fracture causes in resin materials: Fracture surface analysis using optical microscopy, SEM, etc. - Evaluation of moldability: Assessment of moldability through melt viscosity, elongation viscosity, etc. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company is capable of qualitative and quantitative analysis of outgassing using static headspace GC/MS by sealing samples in glass vials. If solvents or unreacted materials remain in the product's resin materials, packaging materials, or cushioning materials, they can diffuse as outgassing (volatile gases). This can not only cause defects in the product but may also have adverse effects on the environment and human health. Our company possesses analytical know-how, including sample handling. Please feel free to consult with us. 【Sample Handling Instructions】 ■ Avoid direct contact with samples using bare hands and do not place them directly into plastic bags. ■ Powdered samples, liquid samples: Pack tightly in glass screw-cap bottles to eliminate air space and seal with a lid that has a fluororesin-coated gasket. ■ Film (sheet) type, plate type samples: Wrap them so that the matte side of the aluminum foil is in contact with the sample, ensuring there is no air space. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our "Analysis of Food Container Packaging." In addition to measuring oxygen permeability and water vapor permeability in film and sheet forms, measurements can also be conducted in product shapes. Oxygen permeability and water vapor permeability are significantly influenced by the composition and material layers of the container. Our company also conducts analytical evaluations through cross-sectional observation (FE-SEM) and material analysis (FT-IR, Raman). 【Measurement Examples】 ■ Water Vapor Permeability Measurement ■ Oxygen Gas Permeability Measurement *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce the "Compression Test" conducted at Ronbic Co., Ltd. This test applies compressive force to resin materials and measures various physical properties such as compressive strength and compressive modulus. We also have a temperature-controlled chamber, allowing tests to be conducted under desired temperature conditions. Additionally, we can perform compression tests on non-standard product shapes and measure compressive strain by attaching strain gauges. Test results can also be provided in electronic data format. 【Test Conditions】 ■ Test Temperature: -60℃ to 200℃ ■ Load Cell Capacity: 50N, 1kN, 20kN ■ Applicable Standards: JIS K7181 ISO604 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe container for solid roux has a multilayer structure because it is necessary for food preservation. By observing the cross-section of such food containers with an electron microscope, the layer composition can be clarified. It was found that a commercially available solid roux container has a multilayer structure consisting of seven layers with a thickness of approximately 3μm to approximately 40μm, as observed by FE-SEM. Based on this, further material analysis (*1) was conducted using FT-IR and Raman analysis, allowing us to understand the materials of each layer. Additionally, the preservation properties of the container can also be assessed through measurements of oxygen permeability and water vapor permeability (*2). *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
