The testing method involves continuous light exposure and cycle operation (light exposure, condensation, rest). The ultraviolet irradiance is 1500W/m² (300–400mm) and can be adjusted. The container for solid roux has a multilayer structure because it is necessary for food preservation. By observing the cross-section of such food containers with an electron microscope, the layer composition can be clarified.
