"RE-Gait" is a walking assist robot developed to assist individuals with poor ankle movement, such as those with hemiplegia after a stroke, with the aim of bringing their walking closer to a normal gait. By assisting dorsiflexion at the time of swing, it causes contraction of the gastrocnemius muscle, coordinating the movements of the knee and hip joints, allowing for smooth swinging. Additionally, data management is possible via a tablet. Based on the information from the foot sensors of both feet, the optimal walking program can be set, and individual walking data is recorded, eliminating the need for data entry each time.
