"Recombinant Bovine Serum Albumin (rBSA)" is a non-animal albumin that is expressed in yeast cells and is equivalent to conventional Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA). Features of rBSA It provides a high-efficiency alternative that does not contain animal-derived components, serving as a substitute for bovine serum albumin. Our recombinant BSA (rBSA) does not contain E. coli DNA, making it an ideal blocking solution for various immunoassays such as ELISA, Western blot, CLIA, lateral flow assays, and immunohistochemistry (IHC). One gram of freeze-dried rBSA is equivalent to 30% BSA (100g) in 333mL of animal-derived serum.
