We will contribute to the vibrant and lively development of Kitakyushu City!
The role of our association is to operate the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) hub at the Shinkansen entrance of Kokura Station, one of the leading MICE venues in western Japan, and the International Convention Zone in an integrated manner. We actively promote MICE activities, attract domestic and international tourists, encourage longer stays, support policies such as the new growth strategy of Kitakyushu City for industrial promotion, internationalization, tourism promotion, and the creation of vibrant communities. To fulfill this role, we continue to advance our initiatives based on the following four fundamental principles: 1. Enhance the quality of MICE events and promote industrial development and internationalization. 2. Increase the diversity of MICE events and foster vibrant and dynamic community development. 3. Enhance the added value of facilities and provide an environment and services that meet user needs. 4. Improve the quality of information dissemination and reception systems to attract domestic and international tourists and encourage longer stays.

- Strengthening Association-Sponsored Projects (Trade Shows and Exhibitions) 【Problem-Solving EXPO】 (July) A platform for matching regional industries and companies' business challenges with solutions, held both in-person and online, featuring various B2B exhibitions. ● Western Japan Manufacturing Technology Innovation ● Eco Techno - Earth Environment Solutions Exhibition / Advanced Energy Technology Exhibition ● Small and Medium Enterprises Tech Fair in Kyushu ● Business Meeting "Manufacturing Technology Matching Fair" ● Western Japan Ceramic Festival (September) A direct sales event where kilns from across the country sell carefully crafted tableware, ranging from artistic and exquisite pieces to everyday dishes, tailored to various uses. ● Western Japan International Welfare Equipment Exhibition (November) One of the largest comprehensive welfare exhibitions in Kyushu and Chugoku, providing useful information to everyone. - Strengthening Convention Attraction (Conferences, Competitions, etc.) - Strengthening the Attraction and Sales to Rental Facility Users - Public Relations and Promotion, Regional Collaboration - Promoting Tourist Attraction and Extended Stays - Public Relations and Collection/Research of Tourism Information for the Tourism City of Kitakyushu - Training and Awareness Raising of Human Resources Related to Tourism - Management and Operation of Facilities Related to Tourism (Public Interest) - Introduction and Promotion of Local Specialties
