Free membership registrationWe were using a lighter to ignite the gas burner, but there was a significant risk of burns, so I would like to introduce a case where we consulted on ways to improve this process. When trying to ignite the gas burner with a lighter, the ignition point and the lighter were too close, making it a task with a high risk of burns after ignition. Therefore, we proposed and developed a product that resembles an extendable "magic hand" for ignition. After the design, we made several revisions and improvements, resulting in a high-quality, practical product that allows for safe ignition. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Request: Improve a process with a risk of burns ■ Proposal: A product shaped like an extendable "magic hand" for ignition ■ Response Details: - It was challenging to balance lightness and strength, requiring multiple revisions and improvements. - We listened to the issues and challenges that arose from actual use and made enhancements for better usability. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where we received a consultation about whether it is possible to expand the range of inspections that can be conducted domestically in Japan to enhance reliability in quality. The items processed overseas can vary in size, from a few millimeters for small items to about 10 meters for larger ones. It was very difficult, both in terms of labor and cost, to measure and inspect items processed overseas after they arrived in Japan and were reloaded onto machines. Therefore, we introduced an inspection machine capable of high precision measurements even for wide-area (large) items. Compared to the past, where we had no choice but to either travel overseas for inspections or trust the inspection results from the local site, we can now conduct thorough inspections of large items domestically. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■ Request: Measure a 10m product with an inspection machine ■ Response: - Introduced an inspection machine capable of high precision measurements even for wide-area (large) items. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where we were requested to manufacture a pipe with intentional scratches at specified locations for the calibration of equipment that inspects for scratches on manufactured pipes. Since it was not possible to manually create scratches on thin pipes, we developed a dedicated machine that allows us to perform the processing of adding scratches, making it possible for us to provide this service. Furthermore, we received requests to conduct various tests, and in collaboration with our customers, we improved the dedicated machine, thereby expanding the range of our capabilities. Additionally, we were pleased to hear that not only did we manage to reduce the previously high costs, but we also enabled tests that were not possible before. 【Case Overview (Partial)】 ■Request: To create special test materials ■Response Details ・Developed a dedicated machine ・Expanded our capabilities by improving the dedicated machine *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe have a case to share where we wanted to arrange for a broken part that has been identified, but the manufacturer is no longer in business, making it impossible to obtain the part. Although we have the assembly diagram from the manufacturer, there are no part drawings available. Even if we wanted to create the part anew, we were unable to proceed with production based on design drawings or blueprints, which was a challenge. The part in question is similar to a fan blade and is of a size that cannot be replaced with off-the-shelf components. At our company, we examined the part, made sketches, and measured it with a 3D measuring device to create a CAD model from scratch. Based on this data, we successfully manufactured the part, allowing the machine to operate again. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■ Request: Manufacture of a part with only the physical item and no drawings ■ Manufactured part: - A part similar to a fan blade - A large size of about 1.6 meters in diameter, which cannot be substituted with off-the-shelf components *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis is an example of a case where we received a request for the arrangement and production of damaged parts due to a crucial manufacturing process stopping at a factory, which is our client. The top priority was to move the halted factory, with delivery time being the most important request. The requested parts were roller-related components used within the factory, categorized into four main types, totaling 1,550 items, with new creations sized to fit in the palm of a hand. Given the large number of items, we considered various ways to deliver them in the shortest time possible, arranging for production across multiple companies by leveraging our domestic and international partner networks. We were able to deliver all parts without major issues to the customer. [Case Summary (Partial)] - Request: Complete delivery of 1,550 parts within 2 to 3 weeks - Response: Arranged production across multiple companies using our network - Challenges and Innovations: - Conducted production in parallel with multiple partner companies - Prioritizing delivery time meant that we could not perform precise inspections on all items due to the large quantity *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
