Velcro's hook and loop products are sold worldwide, including in the United States and Europe, and are loved by people around the world as a simple and powerful tool for "attaching and detaching items." In a nutshell, it is a tool that allows anyone to easily and effortlessly attach or bind items. However, in Japan, the existence of such tools is not widely known, and people expend significant effort on tasks that can be done easily in Europe and the United States. Therefore, G-Star Sounds LLC will officially import Velcro products and make it possible in Japan to "easily and effortlessly attach or bind items," just like in Europe and the United States.
Business Activities
Velcro's hook and loop has not had an appropriate Japanese translation until now, making it difficult to explain the differences from "magic tape" or "loop fasteners" found in Japan. G-Star Sounds will create a new Japanese translation that properly expresses Velcro products and promote their adoption in Japan. "Jizai Chaku-datsu Tape" is a Japanese translation meaning Hook & Loop Sticky Back, a new name for adhesive hook and loop that allows two items to be attached and detached. "Jizai Kessaku Belt" is a Japanese translation meaning Self-engaging Hook & Loop, a new name for hook and loop belts that can be tied simply by wrapping. G-Star Sounds will sell Velcro® brand products through real stores such as DIY shops, home centers, stationery stores, tool shops, miscellaneous goods stores, electronics stores, and musical instrument stores, as well as various e-commerce shops.
