K Company, a precision machinery parts manufacturer, has newly introduced about 70 cutting machines. Along with this, they were considering the introduction of a dust collector that could handle the following conditions. Since cutting fluid is used, oil mist rises from the machines, creating a very poor environment in the factory. Furthermore, the permeability of the cutting fluid is very high, causing it to infiltrate even into the control panels attached to the cutting machines, which frequently led to malfunctions of the control panels. Installing individual small dust collection devices (mist collectors) was quite challenging, so it was decided to use one large-capacity dust collector to address the issue. Since it was stated that "the exhaust is within the factory premises, so some leakage is not a problem," a solution that had slightly inferior collection efficiency but was inexpensive (about one-third the cost of other manufacturers) and easy to maintain was proposed. We received a request to "create a room where we can paint automotive parts in a dust-free environment." In response, we constructed a facility that includes a clean room, a painting booth, and a drying room. To ensure that the painting room does not become negatively pressurized, we must continuously supply clean air, so we also manufactured a large air supply system capable of servicing three painting booths. Since we use HEPA filters for air supply, we have achieved a clean class of 10,000. We received a request from a customer who has large processing machines in their factory, wanting to prevent impurities such as dust from adhering to processed products, and also to ensure that processing powder does not scatter around. In response, we installed a "mist collection device for large 5-axis processing machines." By enclosing only specific areas instead of the entire device, we can efficiently collect dust without the need for a large dust collector. At the printing company, there was a concern that "tiny dust particles were getting into the laminating machine, resulting in defective products." In response, we proposed a "local clean booth" solution. The measurement results showed significant effectiveness, achieving a cleanliness level close to Clean Class 1000. Furthermore, the result for dust particles with a diameter of 5.0μm was completely "0 particles." From the measurement results, there were no visible dust particles at all. We received a request to convert a corner of the factory into a clean room for the introduction of precision processing machines. Therefore, we constructed a "simple clean room." The construction period was completed in about three days. We were able to completely shut out external dust and particles, and we received positive feedback from our customers. We received a request to clean the plastic molding machine. While it is possible to place the entire molding machine inside a clean room, we proposed a "clean booth" since it would be sufficient to clean only the main parts of the machine. By targeting a single machine rather than the entire factory and further converting part of it into a clean booth, we were able to significantly reduce costs.
