By applying machining of fine shapes with dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 or less, we can also accommodate components that require precision, such as robot pins. The dimensions of screw threads need to be adjusted based on the material of the counterpart, and in the case of CFRP, we can finish them to suitable dimensions. "Warashiyama Carbon" is our processing technology that enables various machining processes, including continuous micro-hole processing, outer and inner diameter machining of round bars, and the ability to handle various cutting processes from prototypes and small quantities to mass production, along with the unique development of materials (primary products) to meet various functional requirements. With the capability for free processing of both inner and outer diameters, shapes similar to metal parts, such as corner grooves and round grooves, as well as inner diameter boss shapes can be machined. However, since carbon fibers are cut during processing, special care must be taken regarding the fiber direction during molding to maintain strength. "Warashiyama Carbon" is our machining technology that supports various functions through continuous micro-hole processing, outer and inner diameter processing of round bars, and flexible machining capabilities. We conduct various cutting processes, prototype and small-batch production, as well as unique development of materials (primary products). The ability to perform dish holes and pocket machining is a significant advantage of cutting processes. While water jet and laser cutting can penetrate, cutting machining allows for free adjustment of pocket depth. Furthermore, although CFRP materials have layers, we can achieve a clean finish on the bottom surface with special tools, enabling processing that does not cause delamination between layers, even for trims and thin shapes. "Warashiyama Carbon" is our machining technology that supports various cutting processes, from continuous micro-hole machining to outer and inner diameter processing of round bars, and is capable of handling everything from prototypes and small quantities to mass production due to its flexible machining capabilities. It is possible to continuously process over 100 micro-holes with a diameter of φ0.5mm to φ0.2mm using a single cutting tool. Additionally, we have successfully reduced costs by using our uniquely developed cutting tools. Furthermore, we can process both UD and cross materials with a thickness of 0.5mm to 1.5mm. "Warasuyama Carbon" is our processing technology that has successfully transitioned from conventional continuous processing of φ0.5mm holes to continuous processing of 100 holes ranging from φ0.3mm to φ0.2mm. Inner diameter processing allows for cutting of grooves and steps, expanding its use as mechanical components. Through the development of cutting tools, tools, and methods, we can process pockets, countersunk holes, screws, grooves, hexagonal holes, and more, as well as perform fine precision adjustments that are possible only through cutting processing.
