The "Room Temperature Zinc Coating ZRC Method" is a technique for protecting steel members, such as large structures, thin sheet products, and bridge girders, from rust, where hot-dip galvanizing is difficult to apply. By applying a one-component liquid mixture called "ZRC," which contains 95% high-concentration zinc, with a dry film thickness of 81μm or more, it exhibits rust prevention equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing (JIS H8641 HDZT77). The effectiveness can be maintained over the long term, and in a survey conducted in November 2022 on part of the Kamoike Ohashi Bridge in Yokohama City, which opened in October 2003 (underneath the deck and stairs), there was no peeling or rust occurrence, and it has remained in a state that requires no repairs for over 19 years. 【Features of the Room Temperature Zinc Coating ZRC Method】 ■ No immersion in a zinc plating bath is required, allowing for application to large components in factories or on-site. ■ Since it is applied at room temperature, it can be used on thin products that may warp due to high-temperature processing. ■ Corrosion resistance performance equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing has been recognized in outdoor exposure corrosion tests (5 years in Miyako Island), etc. ■ Long-term durability is achieved through electrical conduction within the coating. Repairs, renovations, and re-galvanizing are also easy. ■ Free design options are possible with the use of specialized topcoat paints in colors like red and blue. ★ Case study materials can be viewed from the "PDF Download."

Free membership registrationThe "Room Temperature Zinc Coating ZRC Method" is a technique to protect steel components, such as large structures, thin sheet products, and bridge girders, that cannot undergo hot-dip galvanizing from rust. By applying a one-component liquid mixture called "ZRC," which contains 95% high-concentration zinc in a dry film, with an average dry film thickness of 81μm or more, it exhibits rust prevention equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing (JIS H8641 HDZ55). There is a wealth of adoption records in major organizational design offices and atelier-style design offices. The ZRC method will solve the concerns of architects and designers. 【Features】 ■ No immersion in a zinc plating bath is required, allowing for application to large components in factories or on-site. ■ Since it is applied at room temperature, it can be used on thin products that may warp due to high-temperature processing. ■ Corrosion resistance performance equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing has been recognized in outdoor exposure corrosion resistance tests (5 years in Miyako Island), etc. ■ Long-term durability is achieved through electrical conductivity within the coating. Free membership registrationThe coating method "Room Temperature Zinc Coating ZRC Method" is a technique to protect building materials, such as large structures and thin sheet products, that cannot undergo hot-dip galvanizing from rust. This product uses a "room temperature zinc coating agent" that provides rust prevention effects equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing. It is a one-component liquid mixture containing 95% by weight of high-purity, special resin, and high-concentration zinc, and its dried film serves as a protective coating that prevents iron corrosion. 【Features】 ■ Zinc content of 95% effectiveness ■ Rust prevention principle is the same sacrificial anode action as hot-dip galvanizing ■ Repairing the zinc layer is easy, similar to painting ■ By choosing topcoats, color planning is flexible Since its development in 1952 through joint research between NORFOLK CORPORATION, the parent company of Z.R.C. Worldwide, and the U.S. Navy, it has been used not only in the United States but also in various countries around the world. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis product is a decorative finishing agent in a silver metallic color that achieves the luster of hot-dip galvanized zinc. It maintains a stable fading rate even with thick applications and various exposure conditions. Additionally, applying it over cold zinc coatings like Z.R.C. or the ZINC JAPAN series significantly enhances its decorative power and expands its color tone. It is used as a final finishing cosmetic application for color adjustments after repairs of hot-dip galvanized surfaces or on-site color corrections. Please feel free to consult us if you have any requests. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
