Free membership registrationThe Integradde project was initiated to develop a new END-TO-END solution to demonstrate the potential of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) for the manufacturing of certified large metal components in the strategic metal processing field. Aiming to develop new manufacturing methods that ensure product design, manufacturability, reliability, and quality of metal components, the project conducts the following research while accommodating a mass customization manufacturing approach: building strategic optimization, multi-scale and multi-physics modeling, hardware-independent construction processes, generation of automated construction strategies, and online self-adaptive control and inline quality assurance for the manufacturing of certified metal components.

Free membership registrationThe Spain Hub IDSA is an initiative targeting Spain within the European IDS project. It can also be defined as a community composed of various companies from different fields (health, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, etc.) that share a need to establish a data-sharing mechanism that allows for the sharing of information while controlling the use of data by third parties. The IDS aims to eliminate the most significant barriers to the data economy, without losing sovereignty and control over the data shared with third parties. Current technology has limitations in knowing what happens to data once it leaves one's domain, and even if data sharing is permitted, it is difficult to ascertain whether the data is being used within the allowed scope. To strengthen cooperation among corporate groups, IDS technology establishes a technical, legal, and contractual foundation. Additionally, by providing a standard structure, IDS maintains a generally agreed-upon format for handling data, and protocols and standards are established to expand trust among companies that share data.

Free membership registrationAt Innovalia Metrology, we are addressing the advancements and challenges of digital measurement through our M3 hybrid optical solution, which promotes adaptation to digital and optimized workflows. The need to optimize production processes is becoming increasingly important for companies, and it is no exaggeration to say that quality control has become an integral part of the process as a result of significant efforts. Up to today, there have been major transformations, such as the introduction of optical sensors and new data processing systems that contribute to reducing the time required for quality control. Incorporating optical sensors like Optiscan and the excellent M3 software solution for data analysis and storage has led to a reduction in measurement processes, facilitating a natural flow that embraces the role of measurement, similar to the M3 hybrid. Not only conceptual changes but also technical transformations that allow for flexible scanning of objects in production lines and laboratories are to be expected. Furthermore, just a few years ago, there were no systems capable of storing and processing large volumes of data as we have today, making technological development essential for measurement to become part of the added value in the production process.
