Free membership registrationIn the parts processing industry, I hear that many companies are particularly reluctant to work with castings (FC, FCD) recently. The main reasons are that machines and factories get dirty, and changing cutting oil is cumbersome. At Akatsuka Seisakusho, we do not find casting processing troublesome at all, thanks to our efforts such as using cutting oil suitable for machining castings. With our long experience in machining castings (FC, FCD) for machine tool parts, we have reduced the frequency of changing cutting oil in tanks by using cutting oil that does not pose a problem for castings, and we have pursued ways to minimize the adherence of casting chips to finished products, thereby alleviating the hassle of casting processing. Furthermore, we can also handle grinding processes, which are often disliked, even with castings. If necessary, we can provide inspection reports using a three-dimensional measuring machine (Tokyo Seimitsu gantry-type Zeiss head) within the measurable range. Of course, machining from cast iron round bars like dense bars is also no problem. Since we primarily focus on wet processing, please consult us separately if you prefer dry processing.
