Furukawa Battery Co., Ltd. was established independently in 1950, originating from the battery division of Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. With the slogan "We are challengers," we have been committed to responding to changes with a sense of speed. We have commercialized products such as the world's first space-use lithium-ion battery, the next-generation lead-acid battery "Ultra Battery" with an integrated capacitor, and emergency magnesium-air batteries made from paper containers. Our company focuses on automotive and industrial lead-acid batteries as its core business, and we develop, manufacture, and sell various battery and power systems that match the trends of the times and the needs of society, including nickel-cadmium batteries for railways and aircraft, and lithium-ion batteries for drones, robots, and artificial sanitation.
