We would like to introduce a case study on the introduction of TOYO's 6-axis deburring device. While deburring may seem simple, it is actually a task that is difficult to manage and requires human skill and experience. It is easier to operate than a robot, has higher rigidity than a robot, and is lower in cost than a robot. The motivation for development was to promote such a deburring device and contribute to labor-saving and efficiency in the workplace. After consulting with local deburring contractors, we designed it with a spacious area that consciously considers intuitive posture changes, naturally ensuring a safe area for the operator. The workpiece dimensions are anticipated to be 450×450×450mm, and the design minimizes the burden on the operator's posture during workpiece loading and unloading. It also has high cleanliness for chip removal, making it environmentally friendly in the workplace, which is one of its attractions. We would like to introduce the implementation results achieved through TOYO's proposal and technical capabilities. Requests came from processing companies dealing with plywood, panels, and gypsum boards. The customer's request was to create a manufacturing machine for sound-absorbing panels. We completed an original machine with TOYO's technical expertise and manufacturing spirit. We developed a dedicated drilling machine that enables mass production of sound-absorbing panels (perforated boards). This machine allows for multiple panels to be processed at once, significantly increasing production speed. 【Implementation Case】 ■Challenges - Burrs occur during drilling with press processing, requiring additional smoothing work. - Manual replacement of gear attachments is needed when changing the pitch of the drilling. - These issues result in low efficiency and productivity in the production of sound-absorbing panels. *For more details on the implementation case, please refer to the PDF document.
