In recent years, due to the policies of major manufacturers, the availability of steel plates (ultra-thick plates) over 200mm has significantly decreased. At Daimaru Steel Co., Ltd., we can manufacture forged products in block or disc shapes with a plate thickness of 200mm or more to your desired dimensions. Compared to gas cutting, switching to forged products improves yield and contributes to cost reduction, which is why we are currently receiving many requests to transition from thick plate cutting to forging. We have one heat treatment furnace that uses a cart-type direct flame convection heating method. The processing temperature ranges from 500°C to 1100°C, with a maximum heating rate of 100°C/H.
