The "Stirling engine" is an external combustion engine that encloses gases such as hydrogen and helium within its cylinders, repeatedly heating and cooling from the outside to operate the piston. Compared to internal combustion engines (gasoline and diesel), it produces less noise due to the absence of explosions, allows for easier purification of exhaust gases, and has high thermal efficiency.
