The WH-608 is activated for measurement when powered on and stops measuring when powered off. The built-in data processing software (MagicProcessor) allows you to open the processed result text files created on the SD card with the computer's "Notepad" to check the observation results. By using the accompanying software to open the files obtained from the SD card, you can create graphs and tables of raw data and processing results. Additionally, after the observation is completed, you can specify the measurement start date and edit the date and time of the acquired data. A sample macro for Excel is also included, expanding the range of data applications in Excel and making it easier to use. The WH-608 can complete the entire process from data acquisition to data processing without any additional purchases. It can also accommodate wave observations overseas, where transportation and acquisition of lithium batteries may be difficult.
