Since the early Showa period, Furukawa Yosuke Co., Ltd. has been producing gold and silver threads for Nishijin weaving, starting with foil stamping. We have a technique for cutting film into thin strips in the manufacturing process of gold and silver threads, and we have specialized in this technique to process current washi paper and non-woven fabrics into thin strips for winding. Around 2013, we began developing new products by creating washi threads based on our cutting technology and handling the final products. You can trust us with washi products and micro-slit processing.
