Our company provides a secure and high-speed/high-capacity IoT platform. The number of IoT devices is expected to surge, and with the increasing congestion of licensed bands that handle communication for IoT devices and the dramatic rise in user traffic, research is advancing on technology that enables LTE communication in unlicensed bands (LTE in unlicensed spectrum: LTE-U). In the United States, Qualcomm is leading the standardization of LTE-U within the mobile phone technology standardization organization 3GPP, aiming for practical implementation around 2020. By using our technology, it is possible to realize these advancements five years ahead of schedule.
