Orbital Net develops IT services in the fields of mapping, surveying, and construction consulting. By selecting, combining, and customizing a range of open-source software known as FOSS4G for geospatial applications as needed, we can provide optimal systems. Furthermore, by integrating these technologies with AI, we aim not only to improve and automate operations but also to achieve things that were previously impossible, ultimately continuing to create new value that has never existed before.
Business Activities
【FOSS4G Solutions】 We support business operations that handle customer information and regional data by utilizing open-source software for geospatial systems, such as QGIS and PostGIS. We propose system development and automation of input tasks. 【AI×Geospatial Solutions】 We propose applications of AI in the geospatial and construction consulting fields, such as extracting features and differences using aerial photographs and videos, and visualizing regional characteristics from big data in geospatial systems. 【3D×Geospatial Solutions】 We provide solutions for distributing and sharing 3D point cloud data captured and generated by drones, as well as CAD data designed in 3D, over the internet. All solutions are based on open-source software. 【Map and Content Services】 We offer various vector map services utilizing open data. Additionally, as a result of AI×Geospatial efforts, we will launch an AI service for interpreting features via the internet.
