Carburization prevention processing hardens the surface of metals during heat treatment; however, by applying a carburization prevention agent, the coated areas do not undergo heat treatment. In other words, they retain the same hardness as before heat treatment. The lapping machine has the upper and lower platens rotating in opposite directions. The carrier inside rotates while revolving due to the rotation of the sun gear and internal gear.
