We would like to introduce a case study of "Reducing personnel and achieving high-quality multi-material molding through two-color molding" that our company conducted. In the resin insert molding process, it was a semi-automatic molding, requiring one operator to be dedicated to the molding machine, resulting in unstable product quality. By switching from semi-automatic molding with a single-color machine to two-color molding, we were able to achieve automatic molding, reducing the workload by approximately one operator. We would like to introduce a case of "laser coating removal on 3D shapes" that our company conducted. There was a challenge in wanting to remove the coating from the top and sides of a circular product with multiple 3D protrusions, which required five processes per location. Additionally, the cost of the fixtures needed for the protrusions was significantly high. We created a rotating fixture and adjusted it so that the surface to be laser processed would be horizontal when rotated. This allowed for a significant reduction in initial and processing costs, resulting in cost savings. We would like to introduce a development case of the "Painting Masking Jig" that our company has worked on. The product has a masking area at the intermediate position inside its cylindrical shape, while all other areas are within the painting range, making it difficult to secure the jig. Additionally, a size equal to or larger than the product's inner diameter was required, which posed a challenge for insertion. We successfully enabled attachment and detachment by utilizing deflection and managed to close the gap between the product and the jig.
