We would like to introduce our 'EGNIS Series' designed for combustion furnaces, which are resistant to chlorination and oxidation. The interior of power generation boilers is exposed to high temperatures ranging from 500°C to 1000°C, creating an environment where chlorine gas is generated. The structural materials inside the furnace significantly deteriorate due to corrosion from high-temperature chlorine and oxygen produced from burned plastics. We would like to introduce the 'Invar' products handled by Shinboko Steel Co., Ltd. Starting with "IC-36," which has a thermal expansion coefficient of 1.5 ppm or less, which is less than 1/10 of that of stainless steel, we also offer the super Invar alloy "IC-36S," which has a low thermal expansion coefficient, and the free-cutting super Invar alloy "IC-36FS," among others. "IC-DX" is a low thermal expansion alloy based on Fe-Co-Cr. Since it does not contain Ni, which raises the Ms point, it can achieve both zero thermal expansion and low-temperature structural stability, making it suitable for use in low-temperature environments. This material is being evaluated for use as a pad material for bonding 200mm square fused quartz (aspheric mirrors). "IC-LTX" is a zero-expansion alloy for astronomical observation satellites. The mirror surface is constructed with a "ClearCeram-Z EX" structure, made from a super-invar IC-LTX material with an extremely low thermal expansion rate of <0±5×10^-8/K, achieving thermal dimensional stability and low-temperature resistance. The mirror surface and telescope structure are maintained at approximately 5°C to facilitate adjustments on the ground. The panels surrounding the telescope's 6A surface are temperature-controlled, maintaining the temperature during a half-orbit (50 minutes) with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. The "IC-EX2" is a mold for CFRP molding (autoclave). Our developed low thermal expansion cast steel can flexibly accommodate complex shapes due to the casting process.
