Utilizing our manufacturing technology know-how, we have developed a device for mass-producing nanofibers, which are high-performance materials. (Patent obtained in 2017) Nanofibers were extremely expensive and had not seen much development in applications due to their inability to be mass-produced. However, with our nanofiber mass production device using a melting method, we can now mass-produce fibers around 500 nanometers. We have newly developed a nanofiber sheet manufacturing device that incorporates nanofibers into non-woven fabric to form sheet-like structures. The nanofiber sheets processed by this device have oil absorption performance that is approximately 2 to 3 times superior compared to conventional oil absorbents (commercial products).
