We would like to introduce a theme that involves the automation of injection molding mold design using an AI (cause-effect analysis module). I had the opportunity to meet with the head of a facility that accidentally engages in the design and manufacturing of injection molds. They expressed their concern about the "shortage of mold designers" and wondered if it might be possible to automate the process to some extent. It is well known that the design of injection molding molds heavily relies on product information (CAD data), and that the structure of undercut areas can become quite complex. Additionally, when designing injection molded products, it is essential to conduct the design work with an awareness of the structure of the injection molding mold. Therefore, we have decided to focus on the automation of injection molding mold design as our theme.

As it is a historical panel, the Japanese text is quite complex. In particular, I paid attention to proper nouns and their meanings, aiming to use expressions that are as understandable as possible for English-speaking viewers. For content that may be difficult to understand, I added annotations and made other considerations.

Amid the ongoing infectious disease news, the demand for short-distance transportation and bicycles as a means of transport has grown even larger than anticipated. I have been researching various new ideas, but this is an age-old theme with many ideas already present in the market, and I haven't been able to come up with anything significantly novel. The current chairs are designed and manufactured for the general public, as it is unclear who will use them. To put it more simply, they are primarily designed and produced based on larger body types, and there is not a strong emphasis on accommodating individual body types, preferences, or usage. This product is a proposal for a new chair that is based on the idea of custom-made or semi-custom-made options, aiming to align with individual body types, preferences, and usage.

We will introduce a new fastening method. 1) Reusable 2) No equipment required in the final assembly process 3) Lightweight and inexpensive (target) Compared to traditional bolt and nut fastening, * There are advantages of being lightweight and inexpensive (target). Compared to traditional welding and riveting fastening, * There are advantages of being reusable and no equipment required in the final assembly process.

This is a proposal for a 3D lock structure. By adding a locking mechanism to the ball joint, it enables position fixation in three dimensions. (PAT. PENDING) Based on the ball joint: 1. A lock piece and cam are added. 2. Dimples are added to the lock piece and the inner ball joint to ensure engagement. Application examples include automotive parts, general chairs, and general industrial machinery, etc. We are currently seeking partners for prototype (productization). Loss at the time of production discontinuation - If the lead time for ordering parts is longer than the lead time for confirming product orders, parts will need to be ordered based on forecasts for a certain period. Due to the difference from the confirmed orders, "excess material loss" or "emergency additional order loss (such as air freight)" will occur. This is the "HOW TO" for reducing this loss.

The current chair (seat) has the following issues because it is unclear who will use it: 1. It is designed primarily for individuals with larger body sizes. 2. It does not accommodate the varying body sizes, weights, preferences, and usage styles of different individuals. In the past, additional cushioning and mechanisms have been widely recognized as solutions to these issues, but it seems that a good solution has not been found for easily transporting the chair while also fitting the diverse needs of individuals. Several methods can be proposed as solutions to the above issues.

Conventional ball joints have adopted methods such as coating and oil lubrication to achieve both 1) reduced operating resistance and 2) reduced play and deflection. However, it has been difficult to balance these two conflicting requirements at a high level. The proposed new idea is to add a size-selected ball bearing between the OUTER and INNER components, which allows for a high-level balance of the two requirements. (PAT.
