Our company manufactures automotive parts such as ducts, nozzle defrosters, and reserve tanks using blow molding technology. The basic form of blow molding involves first using an extruder to melt and plasticize the resin into a cylindrical parison with a die and mandrel. This is then clamped in a mold, and air is blown in to adhere it to the inside of the mold for shaping. After cooling, excess parts are trimmed off. The trimmed sections are reused as material.
