The "hardness standard piece" is a test specimen used to calibrate hardness testing machines. It achieves high precision traceability between the national standard values set by the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry's Industrial Technology Institute and the testing machines owned by JBI (Japan Bearing Inspection Association), allowing test specimens calibrated by those machines to be called "hardness standard pieces." Therefore, each individual hardness standard piece is a high-quality reference material with standard values assigned with high precision. The "Charpy impact standard piece" is a test specimen used to calibrate Charpy impact testing machines. Test specimens extracted from the impact reference machine owned by NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) are strictly calibrated, and those that meet JIS standards are assigned standard values and supplied to the public as impact standard pieces. The "Standard Strength Specimen" aims to manufacture and sell standard and reference specimens for calibrating hardness testing machines and Charpy impact testing machines. The hardness standard specimens are assigned standard values with high precision for all products by JBI (Japan Bearing Inspection Association), and the Charpy impact reference specimens are certified for standard values through tests by NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) before shipment.
