We will introduce examples where benefits arise from Metal Injection Molding (MIM). Similar to plastic injection molding, MIM allows for the shaping of complex geometries using molds, enabling production of shapes that are closer to the final product. By reducing the number of machining areas and minimizing additional processing, it can lead to cost reductions. Shapes that provide benefits and those that do not require post-processing are currently available in our catalog.

"Powder metallurgy" is a type of component manufacturing method that uses metal powder as raw material, specifically referring to the press molding method in a narrow sense. Flowable metal powder is poured into a mold, and a molded body is created through press forming. The forming time is very short, only a few seconds per piece, allowing for mass production. Additionally, powder metallurgy generally has a relative density of 70-90%, resulting in internal porosity.
