Free membership registrationRUTILEA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, President: Takafumi Yano) will launch the web version of its defective image generation AI on Friday, August 18, 2023. The defective image generation AI is a tool that allows users to easily create defective images from pictures of their workpieces (metal, screws, food, capsules, tablets). When automating visual inspections using AI, defective images are needed as training data or for verifying the accuracy of the AI. However, challenges arise due to the scarcity of defective products, leading to a lack of defective images, and the time-consuming process of collecting past defective images. ▶ Easy Generation of Defective Images By utilizing RUTILEA's defective image generation AI, users can select the type of defect and easily create defective images generated by AI based on the original images. We have launched a service that allows you to experience this for free on the web, so please give it a try. ▶ At RUTILEA, we fine-tune the image generation AI to meet our customers' needs and support problem-solving. If you have workpieces that are difficult to handle with the web version or if generating defective images is challenging due to rare materials, please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationRUTILEA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, President: Takafumi Yano) will collaborate with the Science Technology and Innovation Policies Institute (STIPI) of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand to undertake the "Artificial Intelligence System Project for Crime Detection and Prevention in Public Closed Areas." The project is set to start in mid-August this year and is expected to last approximately seven months. In Thailand, gun ownership is permitted under a registration system, and with gun violence and shooting incidents becoming social issues, it is difficult for police officers, who are already burdened with heavy workloads, to solely handle the prevention of gun crimes. This project aims to protect citizens' safety in public areas by developing AI technology to detect firearms from video information. While the development of AI-based firearm detection is rapidly advancing globally, it has been technically challenging for AI companies in Thailand. Additionally, when compared to overseas companies with similar technology, RUTILEA's products have been recognized for their ease of implementation in terms of quality and price, leading to the commencement of this project.
