ELASTIL has extremely superior rebound elasticity compared to other foams. Compared to foams with a continuous bubble structure such as foamed polyurethane (foamed PU) and foamed polyvinyl chloride (foamed PVC), as well as foams with an independent bubble structure like expanded polypropylene (EPP), the rebound elasticity of this product is overwhelmingly superior. ELASTIL is very soft and has a high level of resilience. The flexible grade of this product has a compression set of about 3-6%. Compared to expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP), it has the characteristic of retaining less deformation after compression. ELASTIL is formed by filling a mold with small particles (pre-foamed beads) and applying steam heating. Unlike foam boards, it offers a high degree of freedom in product shape, and even for three-dimensional molded products, secondary processing steps such as cutting, bonding, and trimming are unnecessary. Therefore, it is suitable for high-quality mass production.
