At the stone shop, we would like to introduce a case where the "E-cat kit" was implemented. In this shop, various manufacturers' electric products and engine products were considered to improve the efficiency of transportation work. However, due to their heavy weight, the costs associated with transportation were significant, leading to the decision to postpone their introduction. As a result of the implementation, it became possible for one person to handle the transportation, allowing the time previously spent on transportation to be allocated to other tasks or different sites. Consequently, the improvement in transportation work efficiency contributed to an overall enhancement in work efficiency. E-cat kit introduction case: mandarin orange farmer

A case where "the sense of security that anyone can use" and "sound issues" have been resolved!

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the "E-cat kit" to a mandarin orange farm in Ehime Prefecture. While we transport the mandarins collected by monorail, there are some fields that do not have monorail access, and we sometimes use rubber crawler-type vehicles. However, due to the narrow paths that can only accommodate a person's width and the limited width of the embankments, it has been practically difficult to use them. After the introduction, the sense of fatigue and physical burden has been reduced to less than half. Additionally, we received feedback that the issues of "ease of use for anyone" and "noise problems," which were difficult to address with engine-powered equipment, have also been resolved. CuGo V4 Implementation Case: Jibil Survey Design Co., Ltd.

We would like to introduce a case where "CuGo V4" was implemented at Jibiru Survey Design Co., Ltd., which is involved in the design and inspection work related to the maintenance and preservation of social infrastructure. Before the implementation, the inspection site under the bridge girder was a very narrow space, making it quite difficult for personnel to enter and carry out inspection work. We would like to introduce a case study of the "E-cat kit" implemented by Kurizaki Construction, which is engaged in foundation work for buildings. In the transportation of ready-mixed concrete, the work is typically done by 2 to 3 people. However, if workers are not available, one person may have to carry out all the tasks, which is quite labor-intensive. After the introduction of the kit, the transportation work became significantly easier. Additionally, in situations where it is important not to dirty the interior, using the electric system to push smoothly eliminated the worry of spilling due to excessive force. CuGo V3 Implementation Case Controlled by M5Stack

A case where compost and unwanted plants were transported in and out due to the replanting of flowers.

We would like to introduce a case where the "E-cat kit" was implemented at Kōkaen, a farm in Kagawa Prefecture that cultivates various flowers. At this farm, it takes about 10 days to transport compost into the greenhouse, with a total weight reaching 30 tons. Many of the workers are in their 70s, and the heavy labor associated with transportation has always been a challenge. E-cat kit introduction case: Ashikawa Farm

The amount that can be transported at one time has significantly increased, reducing the fatigue associated with transportation!

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the "E-cat kit" at Ashikawa Farm, which cultivates various citrus fruits in Shizuoka Prefecture. Before the introduction, a significant challenge was the physical exhaustion and inefficiency caused by transporting over 300 kilograms of harvested produce each day. After the introduction, the number of workers needed for transportation decreased from three to almost one, allowing for an increase in the number of people available for cutting, leading to more efficient harvesting. Most importantly, the fatigue from transportation was significantly reduced. This article serves as a development report for a project aimed at enhancing the ROS development kit into a product that allows for "immediate software development without worrying about hardware" through participation in a technical challenge called the "Tsukuba Challenge." In this article, we will introduce the robot's self-localization using maps and the switching between GNSS. The course for the Tsukuba Challenge 2023 has changed. It now runs through the northern area of the Tsukuba City Hall. Due to the presence of a roof in the northern area, the positioning accuracy of GNSS deteriorates sharply, making it impossible for the robot to operate autonomously with GNSS alone. CuGo Series Case Study: Underfloor Inspection Robot

Quickly, cheaply, and easily create what you want! Introducing a case of developing an underfloor inspection robot at low cost.

We would like to introduce a case where we created an "underfloor inspection robot" using our test development crawler unit, the "CuGo series." By using the CuboRex crawler, a robot can be easily produced at a low cost and in a short period, even in narrow spaces or rough terrain. The project was completed by combining the most accessible and affordable model in the series, CuGoV3, with a camera from a DJI drone. E-cat kit2 Introduction Case Study: Taisho Corporation

We would like to introduce a case where the electric wheelbarrow conversion kit 'E-cat kit2' was implemented in the self-propelled lime spreader "Lime ZEST ZQ-70" from Taisho Co., Ltd. In developing Lime ZEST, the company needed to use electric power instead of an engine, but it was difficult to develop the power component in-house from scratch, and progress was not as expected. The decisive factors for introducing the development were the flexibility of procurement and the speed of response. We received feedback that not only was customization easy, but there were also significant cost reduction effects.
