Linfiny Japan Co., Ltd. was established as a development company for electronic notebooks using E Ink's electronic paper, as a joint venture between E Ink and Sony Semiconductor Solutions. Since the adoption of electronic paper in Amazon's Kindle e-book reader, its use has rapidly expanded in recent years to electronic shelf labels and POP displays in electronics retail stores. Additionally, in outdoor applications, medium to large electronic paper displays are being deployed for bus stops and signage purposes. At Linfiny, we combine E Ink's new electronic paper technology with Sony's strong manufacturing capabilities to offer thin and lightweight tablet-type products specialized for reading and writing. We provide solutions that facilitate integration with higher-level systems not only for B2C applications but also for B2B uses, supporting the transition to a paperless and digital transformation (DX) society, as well as contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
