【Development of Architectural Structures and Construction Methods】 We support research and development related to structural systems, construction methods, and design systems utilizing new materials and technologies. 【Certification and Evaluation Support】 When designing buildings that utilize new materials and technologies, as well as seismic-resistant and super-tall buildings, it is necessary to obtain certification and evaluation from designated performance evaluation organizations approved by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. We provide comprehensive support for all aspects of this process, including preliminary consultations, planning, experiments, analyses, preparation of application documents, and responses to committees and subcommittees. 【Structural Experiments】 We assist in planning and conducting experiments to evaluate structural performance in collaboration with testing laboratories and academic institutions. These experiments include material tests, joint tests, member tests for columns and beams, structural tests for shear walls and floors, dynamic loading tests for seismic-resistant components, shaking table tests for full-scale buildings, and continuous micro-vibration measurements of actual buildings. Additionally, we conduct literature reviews of related research and interviews with authorities and experts to propose optimal evaluation methods and practical applications. After the experiments, we also prepare reports.
