Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study conducted at Kaya Industries regarding press and machining processes. When there are challenges related to production lead time and management, we can reduce the lead time by decreasing the work hours, which in turn reduces the intermediate processing steps. Additionally, in terms of management, we can achieve integrated production of a variety of products across multiple processes. 【Case Overview】 ■ Processing Details - Machining Process: Process elimination (achieving all shear surfaces through completed pressing) - Result: Improvement in production lead time due to the reduction of intermediate processing steps *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study conducted at Kaya Industries involving pipe + press + brazing + retect + valve assembly. When there are challenges related to production lead time and quality, we can reduce the production lead time by decreasing the number of parts, which in turn reduces intermediate processing steps and leads to improvements. Additionally, regarding quality, improvements can be achieved by eliminating the causes of issues through changes in the manufacturing method. 【Case Overview】 ■Number of Parts - Pipe Parts: Reduction of 1 part - Result: Improvement in production lead time due to the reduction in the number of parts *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationTo connect Φ8.0 pipes in a T-shape, we drilled holes and split the pipes near the T to remove the drilling debris. After removing the debris, we welded them together in an I-shape. By developing a new drilling method that discharges the debris outward, we achieved cost reduction through a decrease in the number of pipe components and welding points, improved quality by reducing foreign matter inside the pipes, and increased productivity by reducing the work processes. 【Case Summary】 ■ Cost Reduction - Number of pipe components: 3 → 2 - Number of welding points: 4 → 3 - Price: Processing cost down by 22% ■ Quality Improvement - Rate of foreign matter inside pipes: 20% → 0% *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where the stopper component of the propeller shaft (powertrain part) was processed without a machining process. To achieve press-fit joining to the shaft, the inner diameter tolerance is ±0.025. Traditionally, this involved pressing followed by inner diameter machining. By innovating the pressing method, we successfully ensured a quality with an inner diameter tolerance of ±0.025 and a surface roughness of Ra3.2 or less, using only the pressing process on a standard press machine. [Case Study] <Pressing + Machining ⇒ Pressing only> ■ Cost Reduction ・Reduction of machining processes ・Price: Processing cost down by 33% ■ Improvement in Production (Work) Efficiency ・Increased productivity by reducing logistics losses of work-in-progress *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
