Asahi Kiki Service Co., Ltd. has established a new logistics base, the Yokohama Kohoku Sales Office, in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The new office is located in a prime area just about one minute from the Kohoku Interchange on the Third Keihin Road, thanks to the opening and improvement of the Yokohama Kohoku JCT, significantly enhancing the convenience of the location. The Kanagawa Route 7 Yokohama Northwest Line, which opened fully in March 2020, connects the Third Keihin Road with the Tomei Expressway, providing high convenience not only to the city center and the entire Kanto region but also to all of Eastern Japan, as well as the Tokai and Kansai regions. Leveraging this advantageous location, we plan to also engage in direct delivery of small-lot cargo limited to the region this term. By introducing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), we are actively working towards the realization of "smart logistics" through automation and labor-saving measures in logistics operations, reducing labor burdens, improving work efficiency, and considering the environment.
