Fukui Canon Materials Co., Ltd. newly joined the Organic Solar Cell Technology Research Association (hereinafter referred to as RATO) on November 21, 2025 (Friday). RATO is an industry-academia collaboration organization that promotes the technological development and standardization of next-generation solar cells, including perovskite solar cells. Through our activities in this association, we will advance testing operations, evaluations, and analyses using various equipment, examine the applicability of our materials to organic solar cells, and aim for further improvement of our technological capabilities.

Fukui Canon Materials has started selling two types of iodinated 9,9-dimethylfluorene as research reagents. These reagents will be provided through Kishida Chemical. Utilizing the synthesis, separation, and purification technologies that our company has cultivated over many years, we will offer high-purity fluorene derivatives at a low cost.
