In the development of semiconductors and electronic materials, have you ever experienced situations where "the calculations show no issues, but the characteristics are unstable" or "there is variability in the evaluation data"? One of the causes of this is trace impurities that remain in the materials. In particular, by-products that have a structure similar to the main component are difficult to separate through recrystallization or washing, which can prevent the material from exhibiting the desired characteristics. Our purification technology is one effective approach to address these challenges. We capture the behavior of impurities based on physical properties such as chemical structure, polarity, and interactions, and select appropriate separation methods. When selective separation using columns is difficult, we can also utilize temperature differences through sublimation to reduce impurities and residual solvents.
