The Okinawa Airport Shuttle, a public transportation service available to everyone, is a safe, affordable, and speedy means of connecting travelers. We designed the character concept for its promotional original character. Inspired by the flowers, birds, wind, and moon that shape Okinawa, we created 12 guardian deities of travel, represented by the spirit of the bus, "Tabikami" (Travel God). I was responsible for producing corporate advertisements for Yamaki Co., Ltd., which boasts top-level quality in katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes). Although there was an existing advertisement design, we created new designs that could be adapted for various sizes, including industry magazines and newspaper ads. Since the primary usage is often in a single color, we selected and created a key visual that effectively conveys Yamaki's image even in one color. We aimed to differentiate it from the existing advertisement designs while highlighting the appeal of katsuobushi and attracting viewers' attention.
