Expressing the lightness, thinness, and softness of the bonito flakes even better! I aimed to attract the viewer's attention.
I was responsible for producing corporate advertisements for Yamaki Co., Ltd., which boasts top-level quality in katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes). Although there was an existing advertisement design, we created new designs that could be adapted for various sizes, including industry magazines and newspaper ads. Since the primary usage is often in a single color, we selected and created a key visual that effectively conveys Yamaki's image even in one color. We aimed to differentiate it from the existing advertisement designs while highlighting the appeal of katsuobushi and attracting viewers' attention.
