Due to their spherical shape, they feature minimal grinding of the workpiece's surface and low contamination of the workpiece. The finish achieved through sandblasting is very unique, resulting in a slightly glossy, frosted (matte) appearance. Additionally, "glass powder" consists of irregular glass particles and has slightly more grinding power compared to "glass beads."
