The term "AI" has become commonly associated with the term "neural network." This neural network is a mathematical model for information processing that was devised based on the structure of the brain. It is believed that human intellectual activities are primarily carried out by the functioning of neurons, which are cells in the brain. On the other hand, there are cells called glial cells in the brain, which are said to support the neurons. Just as glial cells support the activity of neurons, we wanted to embody our desire to create a company that supports human activities through computer systems utilizing AI in the name "Glia Computing."
Business Activities
Glia Computing Inc. has been addressing our customers' business challenges by leveraging AI technology while conducting research and investigation into new technologies in the rapidly changing AI market. In addition to consulting services and contract development to tackle various issues, we are advancing our service offerings in the LearningBook SaaS business by extracting information from PDF drawings that companies struggle to utilize after digitizing paper drawings, enabling them to efficiently apply this information in their operations. We also contribute to the efficiency of businesses and support work style reforms for companies promoting DX initiatives through pinpoint searches of drawings and the identification and estimation of equipment parts within those drawings using LearningBook.
