We are a professional company specializing in whaling and whale meat sales!

Our company is engaged in two businesses: commercial whaling and research activities. In the mother ship whaling business, under the permission of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, we capture, produce, and sell three species of whales—Bryde's whale, minke whale, and sperm whale—within our country's exclusive economic zone (within 200 nautical miles). Additionally, in the whale resource research business, we conduct visual surveys of whale resources in the Pacific Ocean, POWER (joint research with the IWC), and visual surveys in the Antarctic Ocean. The scientific data collected by the visual survey vessels and the biological data of whales captured during commercial whaling will continue to be provided to the IWC through the Japan Whale Research Institute, a public interest incorporated foundation.
