Free membership registration【Introduction to FWP Core】 It is mainly used as a roll core for optical film base materials, functional films, printing films, metal foils, food packaging films, and specialty papers. It started over 40 years ago and has become the main product of FWP pipes to this day. The roll core is optimally designed based on unique calculations derived from composite measurements. 【Strength Calculation Method】 ■ Safety Factor for Winding ┗ Calculate whether the FWP core can withstand the external pressure generated by the winding tension. ■ Radial Displacement ┗ Calculate the amount of inner diameter displacement of the FWP core due to the external pressure from the winding tension. ■ Maximum Axial Deflection ┗ Calculate the deflection amount at the center of the FWP core due to the weight of the film. ■ Calculate the strength of the FWP core on the support base. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration【Introduction to FWP Core】 It is mainly used as a roll core for optical film substrates, functional films, printing films, metal foils, food packaging films, and specialty papers. It started over 40 years ago and has become a flagship product of FWP pipes to this day. The roll core is optimally designed based on unique calculations derived from composite measurements. 【Surface Recyclable】 Even if the surface is scratched or damaged, it is possible to remove the coating and re-coat it. This allows for repeated use of the same FWP core multiple times. Additionally, if the ends are damaged due to chucks or other reasons, the damaged parts can be cut off and repurposed into shorter products. We have a long-standing track record in the recycling business and consider it one of our efforts to address environmental issues. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration【Extensive Lineup】 We have about 20 types of FWP cores to meet various customer needs. Here are some of the cores we offer: - FWP-02 ┗ The surface is formed by extrusion molding with thermoplastic resin, allowing for continuous production. It is a standard FWP core capable of mass production for users of raw materials such as PET film. - FWP-10 ┗ The electrical resistance value of the surface coating layer is below 10^7Ω, which helps suppress the adhesion of foreign substances. It is a standard FWP core widely used by both raw material users and secondary processing users. - FWP-101 ┗ This FWP core has enhanced heat resistance due to heat applied to the core from film aging and surface rubber vulcanization. - FWP-201 ┗ By adding carbon fibers, this FWP core increases rigidity in both axial and circumferential directions, accommodating stringent film winding conditions and long-length requirements that the FWP-10 core cannot handle. - FWP-204 ┗ This FWP core uses only carbon fibers for reinforcement, catering to users requiring high rigidity and high precision. It allows for significant weight reduction compared to metal cores, providing handling advantages. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document.*

Free membership registration【What is FWP(R) from Tenryu Composite?】 FWP stands for "Filament Winding Plastics," which is a type of FRP manufactured using the filament winding process. It is a general term for FWP pipes that possess various characteristics due to our unique technology and is one of our trademarks. FWP has excellent mechanical strength, electrical properties, and chemical resistance, making it useful in a wide range of fields, including industrial materials, electrical insulation materials, leisure products, and pressure vessels. Its significant feature is that it is "light and strong," and we look forward to your inquiries as an alternative to metal products. 【About Winding Angles】 The mechanical strength of FWP products is determined by the combination of the material properties and the winding angles for each layer. In filament winding, there are mainly hoop winding and helical winding, and designs are made to maximize performance based on their combinations. ■ Hoop Winding - The winding angle is set upright (70° to 88°) relative to the longitudinal direction (axial direction) of the pipe. - Increases mechanical strength in the circumferential direction. ■ Helical Winding - The winding angle is laid down (5° to 69°) relative to the longitudinal direction (axial direction) of the pipe. - Increases mechanical strength in the axial direction. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
