We received a request from a customer to transport ingredients for baked goods such as sugar, salt, starch, and flour in a sealed structure. A transport capacity of 1,000 kg/h and an input accuracy of less than 1% are required. To achieve this, we designed a supply hopper with dust collection functionality for six ingredients. Depending on the characteristics of the materials, it is equipped with bridge breakers, mixing devices, and fluidization devices. From the above hopper, the ingredients are transported to a central large hopper via six vacuum conveyors. Below the vacuum conveyors, Volkmann vibrating feeders are installed. These can fill in gram units. The air-operated pinch valve is directly actuated by compressed air. The internal elastic sleeve is compressed by the supplied air. Due to the special structure of the case, the sleeve is crushed into a lip shape. This ensures that the flow of powders/granules is 100% sealed. *Since it is air-operated, it can also be used in explosion-proof areas.

This system performs weight measurement by installing a vacuum conveyor on a special frame, completely isolating it from external forces and loads. The filling weight is continuously measured during the suction cycle. Our CONWEIGH vacuum transport and weighing/filling system measures both the input and output of bulk materials. These systems can be set to transport a constant amount of product or control the supply quantity over time. CONWEIGH offers a vacuum conveyor with a fine discharge function that achieves an accuracy of up to 99.7%/99.9% (depending on the material condition and installation location).
