Panasonic IP Management Co., Ltd. was established in September 2014 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, specializing in intellectual property. The purpose of its establishment is to commercialize the core functions of intellectual property activities, such as the creation, protection, and utilization of intellectual property within the Panasonic Group, as well as the prevention and resolution of disputes, while clarifying management responsibilities. This aims to achieve a more proactive contribution to the creation and growth of Panasonic's business. We will leverage our strengths in advanced know-how related to intellectual property operations within the company and expand our "utilization-driven intellectual property activities" that link intellectual property to business contributions.
